This community of private courtyard homes is located in Palm Springs in the existing gated community, Village Traditions, a housing development located within Section 14 of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians reservation.”This has been a great partnership from the beginning,” Tribal Chairman Jeff L. Grubbe said. “We supplied the land, and Rilington is building a great community that adds to the existing neighborhood of Village Traditions.”This is a project we’ve wanted to do for sometime so this groundbreaking is a reason to celebrate,” he said “We are particular about who we partner with, and we know Rilington will do a great, quality job.”

This marks the Rilington Group’s first project with the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians. “The spirit of cooperation that we’ve had as we came into their environment and getting the project to this point has been an absolute pleasure,” notes Mickie Riley, President of The Rilington Group. We look forward to a lasting relationship that is beneficial for all,” Riley adds.

Vallera’s grand opening with fully furnished models is projected for late August, with homes being finished in October. Mayor Pougnet sees this project as the right project for the City in the right location at the right time. “We see this partnership as a great opportunity for the City of Palm Springs, says Mayor Pougnet. “When I hear those trucks on the site, it’s music to my ears,” Pougnet laughs. “There is a big demand for this type of community that offers sustainable living and an excellent lifestyle close to downtown.”

These three bedroom/three bath homes are offered in three distinct architectural styles including: Spanish Revival, Hacienda and California Ranch. The three two-story floor plans offer comfortable living spaces for today’s lifestyle, ranging from 1848 to 2185 square feet. Built in three different elevation styles, each home is distinctive and designed with indoor-outdoor living in mind.

The Rilington Group is known for high quality throughout its homes, no matter the price point. Vallera interiors highlight transitional style combined with modern design in cabinets, countertops and flooring finishes. Vallera will have all the high quality features both inside and out that Rilington communities have been noted for over the past four decades.

Vallera is located within walking distance from all that Palm Springs offers today with its original glamour and status as one of the country’s great resorts. “With the current resurgence of Palm Springs’ downtown and the city and business leader’s progressive attitude, with a facelift to the downtown area and lots of new activity, we know Vallera is the right community for those who embrace the Palm Springs lifestyle,” notes Riley.
