I also liked that it had two master bedrooms. I thought ‘this is the one for me!’”

Cathy also enjoys having the large casita out back that has its own bedroom and bath, bringing the total of master bedrooms actually to three. “When you entertain, everyone has their own spot,” she said.

It was a pleasure going through the entire process of buying a home at Palazzo. Cathy appreciated the excellent customer service extended to her by Rilington Communities from the beginning to the end of the transaction. “The customer service was incredible and the communication was so great when we had to discuss the extra items that were being put in. You could just e-mail any question or concern and they would be right there to help. The follow-up was superb,” she added.

The floor plans at Palazzo provide a free-flow of spaciousness and a perfect transition from room to room. “I love the way they designed the floor plans because they didn’t waste a lot with excess hall space. All of the bedrooms are really large, they don’t skimp at all on space especially in the master bedrooms,” Cathy noted. “The ceilings are really high with high doors throughout; it creates a very grand appearance. I think they did such a great job on the house.”

The pluses really add up at Palazzo with panoramic views of the chocolate mountains and the wide open space that surrounds. “I enjoy the views, and it is lovely to look out and see the chocolate mountains. At night it so beautiful, you can go out and really see the stars,” she said. “Another great thing is that Palazzo is very close to the freeway, but you don’t hear the freeway noise at all. It is phenomenal. It is so quiet. If I have to go somewhere I can just get on the freeway.”

When it comes to architecture, Palazzo is hard to rival, with beautiful Tuscany and Mediterranean styles that give the community an air of sophistication and elegance. Cathy added: “I like the Italian look of the homes. It inspired me with my landscaping, so in keeping with the theme, I added Italian cypress on each side of the front doors.  There are a lot of extra touches in the stucco and all the design details; like the arch of my front doorway!”  Cathy loves the welcoming feel of Palazzo and her new home. “When you walk in, the whole house just opens up. I couldn’t be happier!”
