When La Quinta residents Felice Chiapperini and Tomm Belanich were looking to downsize from their 2,600 square foot home, they knew exactly what they wanted in a new home and community. Plus, we could customize our new home exactly as we wanted.”

“When we walked into the models at Domani on opening weekend, right then we picked out the ideal corner lot and the plan we wanted,” recalls Chiapperini. “Our lot is perfect and has a beautiful outdoor space for a pool. Our home at Domani is 1,729 square feet with a casita. The home is designed so well that all our furniture fits perfectly,” he adds.

 

On opening day for sales of Phase 5, Rilington upped the ante for interested buyers. When the sales office opened, all lots offered would be on a first-come basis. Belanich showed up at Domani’s gate at eight the night before. He slept in his car to be the first in line. “We wanted that particular lot very badly since it was so perfect for our lifestyle,” he recalls. “I was the second person in line that morning,” laughs Chiapperini, “because I brought Tomm coffee at five in the morning.”

 

Once they secured their lot, they put their Lake La Quinta home on the market. During the time it took to sell their home, Chiapperini and Belanich spent every Sunday – during the open house at their La Quinta home – hanging out at Domani’s models. “We literally met other buyers who became our neighbors on those Sundays and had a built-in social life before we even moved in,” Belanich laughs. “Living in an active community was at the top of our list. We started the Domani Social Club and already have held several well attended events since we moved in last March,” added Belanich, who was on his way to plan Domani’s Halloween Party.

 

Chiapperini had worked in marketing for a major national home builder on a large project in the desert.
