Elected officials and community leaders in attendance included Indio’s Mayor Pro Tem Glenn Miller, who gave a warm welcome to The Rilington Group and Lido at Terra Lago. “The City was so excited to see this development move forward and couldn’t think of a better homebuilder to build it.” City of Indio Councilmember Elaine Holmes said a few words, as did representatives from the offices of Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia representing the 56th California Assembly District, and Congressman Raul Ruiz, representing the 36th District of California and the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce.
“The City of Indio has always been special to the Rilington Group. When we moved our company to the Coachella Valley in the early 2000‘s one of the first Rilington communities we built was in Indio. Everyone we worked with there was extremely engaging and always helpful,” recalls Mickie Riley, CEO and Founder of the Rilington Group.
“We felt like a longtime member of the community and worked together to move forward designing communities and building quality homes. We are very happy to be back building in the City and hope to do more communities in Indio as time goes on. As one of the first builder developers in north Indio we have always believed it is a good place to live, work and play,” Riley adds.
